Refund policy

RETURNS & REFUNDS

NOT RIGHT? WE'LL PUT IT RIGHT.

We make clothes to be worn, not regretted.

Wrong size? Changed your mind? Something not up to scratch?

We'll deal with it properly.

No runaround. No invented rules. Just straight answers and fair treatment.

We're an independent clothing brand that believes in quality, individuality and doing things properly.

And those standards don't stop at checkout.

Here's where you stand.

1. CHANGED YOUR MIND?

14 DAYS. NO EXPLANATION NECESSARY.

Bought something from our website and decided it's not for you?

Fair enough.

For most online purchases, you have 14 days from the day after receiving your goods to tell us you want to cancel.

If your order arrives in separate deliveries, the cancellation period normally runs from the day after the final item arrives.

You don't need to give us a reason.

Simply email hello@silverfoxapparel.co.uk or write to us, clearly stating that you wish to cancel.

Include your order number if you have it.

You then have another 14 days from notifying us to send the goods back.

You can also cancel an eligible order before it arrives.

TRY IT ON. CHECK THE FIT.

You're entitled to examine your clothing as you would in a shop.

If you've handled an item beyond what's reasonably necessary to check its fit, appearance and characteristics, we may deduct any resulting reduction in value from your refund.

You don't need to retain the original packaging to exercise your statutory cancellation rights.

2. RETURNING YOUR ORDER

KEEP IT SIMPLE.

Returning something shouldn't be complicated.

Step 1. Tell us.

Email hello@silverfoxapparel.co.uk or send us a written cancellation notice.

Step 2. Send it back.

Return the item within 14 days of telling us you wish to cancel.

Our returns address is:

Silver Fox Apparel Ltd
43A Park Road South
Newton-le-Willows
WA12 8EZ
United Kingdom

Please package your return securely.

We recommend using a tracked delivery service and keeping proof of postage.

Step 3. We'll sort the refund.

We'll process your refund within the legal timescale explained below.

WHO PAYS RETURN POSTAGE?

If you've simply changed your mind, you're responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.

If an item is faulty, damaged or incorrect and you're entitled to a legal remedy, we'll cover reasonable return costs or arrange a suitable return method at our expense.

No surprise administration charges. No restocking fees.

3. REFUNDS

YOUR MONEY. FAIRLY HANDLED.

When you exercise your statutory right to cancel an online purchase, we'll refund the amount due without unnecessary delay.

Where goods have been supplied, we'll issue your refund no later than 14 days after receiving the returned goods or receiving evidence that you've sent them back, whichever happens first.

If no goods have been supplied, we'll refund you within 14 days of being informed of your cancellation.

Refunds are made using your original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise.

We don't charge refund processing fees.

WHAT ABOUT DELIVERY CHARGES?

If you cancel your entire online order under your statutory cancellation rights, we'll refund the original standard delivery charge.

If you chose a more expensive delivery option, we'll refund up to the cost of our least expensive standard delivery service.

For partial cancellations, any refund of delivery charges will be determined in accordance with your statutory rights.

Once issued, your refund may take additional time to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.

4. SOMETHING WRONG?

THAT'S OUR RESPONSIBILITY.

We believe in standing behind what we sell.

If your item arrives faulty, damaged or different from what you ordered, get in touch.

Email hello@silverfoxapparel.co.uk and tell us what's happened.

Include your order number if available.

Photographs can help us understand the problem, but they're not compulsory.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the goods we supply must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.

If they aren't, you have legal rights.

WITHIN THE FIRST 30 DAYS

If your goods are faulty, you will generally have the right to reject them for a full refund within the first 30 days.

AFTER 30 DAYS

Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a repair or replacement.

If that isn't possible or doesn't resolve the problem, you may be entitled to a refund or price reduction.

Your statutory rights can continue beyond these periods.

Normal wear and tear, accidental damage and damage caused by misuse aren't automatically manufacturing faults.

Every reported issue will be considered fairly and in accordance with your statutory rights.

WE DON'T EXPECT YOU TO PAY FOR OUR MISTAKES.

Where you're legally entitled to reject faulty or misdescribed goods, we'll cover reasonable return costs.

5. EXCHANGES

WRONG SIZE? LET'S SEE WHAT WE CAN DO.

Ordered a medium. Needed a large.

It happens.

Email hello@silverfoxapparel.co.uk and we'll check what's available.

We're happy to help arrange exchanges where possible, subject to stock.

With limited-edition releases, your preferred size might have sold out.

If an exchange isn't possible, your applicable statutory return and refund rights still apply.

6. LIMITED EDITIONS & CUSTOM PRINTING

DIFFERENT PRODUCTS. SAME STANDARDS.

Some SFA pieces are produced in limited numbers.

Others are created specifically for individual customers.

There's an important difference.

LIMITED-EDITION DROPS

Limited doesn't mean exempt.

Our limited-edition clothing carries the same statutory online cancellation rights as our regular collections.

Whether we produce 100 or 1,000, your legal rights remain the same.

PERSONALISED & BESPOKE CLOTHING

Goods genuinely made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised for you may be excluded from the usual 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right.

This may include garments featuring your own names, logos, artwork or other individual specifications.

We'll make any applicable cancellation exception clear before you buy.

A standard SFA design doesn't automatically become exempt simply because it's printed after you order it.

RETROFIT PRINTING SERVICES

Where you supply your own clothing for us to print, different rules may apply because we're providing a printing service rather than selling you the garment.

We'll explain the applicable service terms and cancellation arrangements before you commit to an order.

Your statutory rights relating to services carried out without reasonable care and skill remain protected.

FAULTY GOODS ARE DIFFERENT.

Personalisation doesn't remove your statutory rights.

If a bespoke or personalised product is faulty, misdescribed or otherwise fails to meet legal requirements, you're still entitled to the appropriate legal remedy.

7. SALE ITEMS

LOWER PRICE. SAME RIGHTS.

Bought something in a sale?

Your statutory rights haven't changed.

Sale and discounted items carry the same legal rights as full-price products.

We don't believe a reduced price should mean reduced standards.

8. BOUGHT IN PERSON?

DIFFERENT RULES. SAME RESPECT.

If you purchase clothing in person at our Baltic Bazaar retail space in Liverpool, the automatic 14-day online cancellation right does not generally apply.

UK law doesn't normally require retailers to accept in-person returns simply because someone changes their mind.

However, we can offer size exchanges, subject to available stock and the item being in resaleable condition.

Please bring your proof of purchase.

If something is faulty or misdescribed, your statutory consumer rights remain fully protected.

Purchases completed online retain their applicable distance-selling rights, even if collected in person.

9. YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS

NOT NEGOTIABLE.

Nothing in this policy removes, restricts or replaces your statutory consumer rights.

Your purchases are protected by applicable UK consumer legislation, including:

  • The Consumer Rights Act 2015.

  • The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

We're responsible for supplying goods that comply with your statutory rights.

If you're entitled to a legal remedy, we'll honour it.

Standards aren't something we print on a T-shirt and forget about.

They're how we do business.
